Digestibility, taste, lightness, fragrance. Maximum selection of ingredients. Our dough is made with noble flour semi-whole obtained from grains coming from Italian fields. Minimum 48 hours of rising, filtered water, high quality extra virgin olive oil obtained from Italian olives only, sea salt. For our tomato puree we use peeled tomatoes grown in the sunniest areas of southern Italy.
Our wine & pizza combination may look unusual for the most, but not to us. Banco del vino is a winery, and we suggest the pizza with the wine since 2008. From us you can taste selections of Italian wines and some French labels. You will hardly find these labels elsewhere, and it’s a good opportunity to discover new, small and middle-sized wine producers and exceptional products.
But also beer, we offer a small but careful selection of draft and bottled beers.
We always select everything we bring to the table. Our cured meats and our cheeses reflect this philosophy, a traditional cutter, but not banal, where we alternate regional produce and other goodies from the rest of Italy. No products come from the industry.
Our first hour or so in Bologna, looking for somewhere for lunch and came across Banco del Vino by chance. Excellent range of pizzas - and the two we had were really good. A mixture of a wine bar and pizzeria. Quite modern and light. Very good service.

The welcome was fantastic and the food excellent. Lovely homemade bread. Very friendly and highly atmospheric. Good value. Wonderful enthusiasm from the barman for the wine - we loved the wine selected but also the tasters offered too!
